POSITION OVERVIEW Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Inventory Coordinator is responsible for accurately receiving, issuing, and maintaining aircraft parts, materials, and consumables in compliance with Transport Canada and company standards. This role ensures proper documentation, traceability, and storage while maintaining up-to-date inventory records through regular cycle counts and system updates. With strong attention to detail and organization, this position supports efficient maintenance operations and contributes to the overall reliability and professionalism of Alpine Aerotech’s inventory control processes. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN INVENTORY COORDINATOR Receive aircraft parts, materials, and consumables; verify accuracy against purchase orders and certification requirements. Issue parts and materials to maintenance personnel, ensuring proper documentation and traceability. Maintain accurate inventory levels in the company’s inventory management system. Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in full physical inventory audits. Track shelf life, calibration requirements, and expiry dates for applicable items. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of all aviation-related materials in accordance with Transport Canada and company policies. Liaise with the Shipping and Receiving team to coordinate shipments, including packaging, documentation, and courier arrangements. Communicate shortages, delays, or discrepancies to the Procurement, Maintenance, and Planning teams. Assist with vendor returns, core exchanges, and warranty claims. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to best practices, inventory management, and warehouse organization. Fulfill additional duties as required. OUR MUST HAVES Diploma in Business Administration, Operations or Supply Chain Management considered an asset. 1 - 3 years of related experience on inventory control, warehousing, supply chain or a related field; experience in an aviation environment is an asset. Valid driver’s license. Ability to travel within BC and Alberta, including, Golden, Canmore, and Calgary, as required. Ability to work independently with limited supervision while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to frequently lift, push, and move packages up to 50 lbs. Strong Microsoft Office skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work. Effective time and project management abilities, with skill in balancing competing priorities and keeping stakeholders informed. Strong interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence, and professional maturity, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
