Job Summary The Senior Associate forms a key part of the building performance team, and works with management to control and coordinate business development, sales/marketing, team targets, team personnel, technical project delivery and related activities. The Senior Associate provides leadership and resources essential to Introba for building performance services in Canada, decision making and team management accountability. Responsibilities & Qualifications Accountabilities & Duties Responsible for delivering projects that exceed clients’ expectations as the lead commissioning consultant with a holistic understanding of multi-discipline sustainable design issues. On larger projects, manage junior staff and be accountable for their actions and performance. Active role in work tracking, securing, and enrolling new project work focused in Vancouver. Engaging new clients, supporting, and promoting Introba as a multidisciplinary service provider on new project opportunities Supporting and defending existing repeat clients Fully responsible and accountable for all aspects of their team, including employee performance, reporting, mentorship, technical training, compensation, and advancement. Works with Introba’s Management Team to control and coordinate business development, sales/marketing, team targets, team personnel, technical design and related activities Develops, establishes, and administers procedures and systems pertaining to team management matters. Prepares workload, sales forecasts, and team resources/schedule for administrative and managerial functions. Upholds and maintains Introba standards for technical delivery, and will be responsible for specifications, documentation, standardization, quality assurance, cost and value analysis and the broader aspects of commissioning services. Serves as the principal liaison with selected clients and/or major projects. Attributes & Skill Set: 10 or more years experience in Commissioning Excellent computer skills and project management skills Engineering Degree or Diploma LEED AP desirable BCxA, ASHRAE, NEBB or AABC Certification desirable Building design experience in, building controls, M&E systems an advantage Licensed Professional Engineer, Chartered Engineer or CET – registered or eligible for registration is highly desirable. Commissioning – High Level of Knowledge and Expertise Testing Adjusting & Balancing – High level of Technical Proficiency Controls engineering – High level of Technical Proficiency Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems design – High level of Technical Proficiency Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal Team player with Leadership Potential Additional Information Introba is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $110,000 - $140,000 annually for this position and local market.
