We are seeking a Client Accounting Administrator (1-year Term) to join our Coughlin team in Winnipeg, MB. The Client Accounting Administrator provides accounting and administrative services to Single and Multiple Employer Plans. The Client Accounting Administrator is also responsible for producing financial reports and for maintaining a high-quality client services. This individual will have a full cycle fundamental accounting experience. A team player who enjoys working at a fast-paced environment, likes challenges, problem solving, can work independently with minimum supervision and is looking for a long-term career with growth in mind. The Client Accounting Administrator (1-year Term) will: Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable responsibilities, while keeping track of outstanding invoices. Prepare deposits and bank reconciliation. Post monthly journal entries. Balance and reconcile credit card payments. Set up & upload Electronic Fund Transfers (EFT) and Wire Transfers. Verify and reconcile insurance premium payments. Prepare monthly financial statements for clients, while maintaining and monitoring cash flow. Prepare and maintain year-end reconciliation and working papers for annual audits. Assist in producing T4A slips. Respond to clients, members, or other external contacts in a prompt, efficient, and courteous manner. Interact with consultants and collaborate with the pension and claims department in positive and professional manner. To be successful as a Client Accounting Administrator (1-year Term) you will need: Completion of post-secondary education in a related field, such as Business Administration or Accounting. Minimum 1-2+ years of work related experience is required. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams), as well as the accounting program Sage 50. Practical knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping theories and practices, and banking procedures (Accounts payable, accounts receivable, credits, debits, invoicing, EFTs, etc.) Superior data entry skills and strong mathematical and reconciliation skills. The demonstrated ability to learn and master new software and technology (in-house database). Strong attention to detail and the ability to use tact and discretion to maintain information in the strictest of confidence. Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and the ability to manage time effectively. Excellent grammatical, spelling, and communication skills.
