Job Description: The Administrative Assistant is directly accountable to the Manager of Workforce Planning and Employment Strategies -Rural to provide confidential administrative support. This position supports and contributes to, processes and practices to ensure the efficient operation of the portfolio, through accurate, timely and efficient execution of administrative support functions. The incumbent co-ordinates workflow with other administration support staff, and in their absence, may provide support services as requested. Other key responsibilities will include reviewing invoices for accuracy and alignment with contract terms, verifying hours, working with Managers/Agencies to correct discrepancies, following up with finance regarding payment status, maintaining positive, professional relationships with partner agencies, proactively flagging concerns when agency performance may impact future contract decisions, and generating/distributing routine reports to stakeholders and leaders.

Experience
3-5 years of experience working in a senior administrative assistant-type role
Education
Completion of Grade 12 supplemented by a recognized business course
Licenses
Valid Class 5 driver's license
