This Position reports to:
Inside Sales Manager, Canada
As a Sales Support Specialist, you will have the opportunity to support the assigned Sales organization (division and market) and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation.
This role is contributing to the Electrification, Smart Building division of ABB Canada and is located in Dorval.
The work model for the role is hybrid, with 3 days per week at the office.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Supporting your Sales colleagues to determine the optimal and most cost-effective solutions to meet customer needs.
You will play a key support role for the Sales team, preparing pricing reviews & providing exceptional sales support for our emergency lighting products within the Canada.
Reporting to the inside sales and customer service manager, your strong technical and market knowledge will assist you in bringing efficient and effective solutions to customers.
Providing support to internal and external sales teams by interpreting special requirements & indicate them on order according to procedure.
Analyzing customer needs and competitor offers through market intelligence and insight from Sales teams.

Requirements:
A college diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of experience in sales support, working as Support Sales roles with financial sales experience.
Sound knowledge of understanding ratio & market sales analysis.
Knowledge of SAP, SFDC (assets)
A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies.
A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills in French & English. English is necessary to communicate with clients outside of Quebec.
