Position Summary
Reporting to the Turbine Shop Manager, the successful candidate will conduct overhaul and repair work on the company’s (and customer’s) turbine engines as listed in the Transport Canada Approvals and in compliance with the applicable manufacturer’s instructions under the Perimeter AMO manuals. Furthermore, the successful candidate will participate in the shop’s preparatory work and be an active supporting member of the company, supporting work on the fleet and training and advice as required.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Overhaul and repair work on the company’s (and customer’s) turbine engines as listed in the Transport Canada Approvals and in compliance with the applicable manufacturer’s instructions under the Perimeter AMO manuals.
Assist the Turbine Shop manager in the management and operation of the shop.
Support company staff as required, including traveling to other locations in Canada and the USA.
Actively participate in the Company’s Safety Management System.
Continue to meet and exceed the Transport Canada standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Education, Experience and Certifications
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent
Experience with: PW121-series engines, PW123-series engines P&W PT-6 engines, Honeywell TPE331 engines will be considered strong assets
Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations (RAIC, DA, etc.)
Thorough knowledge of aviation regulations required
Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training considered an asset
Valid passport required
Valid driver licence required
Working Conditions
The vast majority of the work will be in a shop environment, however occasional travel and working outside (all seasons) will be required
Physically able to perform all listed job duties
Travel by aircraft and other means as required by role
