A Strategic Role at the Heart of Logistics Responsibilities LAN/WAN management: Administer and supervise network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.), ensuring their configuration, maintenance and evolution. Monitoring and security: Implement network monitoring tools to detect malfunctions or intrusions, manage backups and security updates, and ensure compliance with IT security policies. Support and troubleshooting: Provide technical support to users concerning network problems (connection, performance, access to network services) and quickly resolve network incidents. Performance optimization: Analyze network performance, identify congestion points, and recommend improvement solutions or equipment upgrades. Technical documentation management: Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations, protocols, accesses, equipment configurations and network diagrams. Collaboration with IT teams: Work closely with development, support and security teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and online services. Technology watch: Keep abreast of new technologies and best practices in network management and cybersecurity to anticipate necessary developments. Qualifications Hard Skill Experience in setting up and optimizing network infrastructures Expertise in configuring routers, switches and APs in an SD-WAN (NaaS) environment Expertise and mastery of network protocols and different OSI layers In-depth knowledge of wireless technologies (LTE, Wifi 5, 6, 6E, RF) Expertise in setting up and configuring firewalls (Palo Alto, check point, Umbrella or others) Expertise in setting up and configuring network equipment Proficiency in setting up and configuring VPNs Knowledge of Python or other code is a plus Creation of technical documentation, support Management of incident, request and problem tickets Knowledge of Meraki equipment is a plus Soft Skill Bachelor's degree in computer science, 3 years' professional experience as a network administrator Passionate about IT intelligence Self-starter Team player Motivated Strong in proposing solutions Proactive and reactive Excellent communication skills Resourceful and open-minded Ability to travel regularly within Canada and internationally Driver's license required Why Join Us?
