We’re looking for a Field Summer Student to join our all-star team to support our Peace Arch Assets. We’re looking for:

What you’ll do:
Here is a sample of what your workdays may look like:
Wash and paint floors, barricades, pipes, and other surfaces.
Work with the operations team to assist in WHMIS labelling and gain experience in workplace safety.
Maintain the grounds by mowing grass and keeping the area looking great.
Install and maintain culvert markers to improve safety and accessibility around the site.
Update and replace road signs, ensuring right-of-way markings are clear and accurate.
Help with boneyard clean-ups and make sure everything is stored safely and efficiently.
Clean beneath grating in compressor buildings, ensuring these hard-to-reach areas are spotless and contribute to maintaining a safe, well-organized work environment.
Collaborate with the operations team to organize and clean sea cans and workspaces.
Help maintain clean, well-organized workshops and storage areas.
Verify, clean, and organize inventory for key items like blinds, flanges, and drip trays.
Organize and maintain barrel docks, ensuring they’re ready to support day-to-day operations.
Perform minor fencing repairs.

Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree or diploma program.
Reliable transportation to and from the work site.
Basic safety knowledge.

Salary Range:
$43,680 - $60,320. Final compensation for this position will be determined based on the students field and year of study.
