The Account Management General Sales Manager directs an account team and key customer relationships through the sales and account support cycle. Executes sales and business development plans to achieve revenue and profitability goals within assigned customers. Strengthens existing customer relationships and builds additional relationships at higher levels within accounts. Direct/mentors relationship-building skills of the account team. Accountable for the execution of the sales strategy in support of key customers
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Develops and executes long-term, strategic relationships with complex, cross-regional key accounts aligned with Cummins’ sales strategy.
Integrates Cummins’ solutions into customer operations, identifying and addressing current and emerging business needs.
Leads cross-business unit account development, driving growth strategies and increasing Cummins’ share of customer business.
Conducts complex contract negotiations and manages accounts receivable, including payment terms and risk mitigation.
Champions the voice of the customer, using data-driven insights to improve loyalty and customer value initiatives.
Coaches and mentors’ sales teams, accelerating performance through the Cummins Sales Process and best practices.
Maintains accurate forecasting, reporting, and account planning using Cummins tools and systems.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align inventory, service, and delivery capabilities with customer expectations.
