Job Description
CEDA is looking to hire a Fabrication Manager for the Bonnyville shop. This role will oversee both the fabrication and structural shops. Candidates must be local to the Bonnyville area or willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the fabrication and structural workshops, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and driving continuous improvement.
Champion a strong safety culture and ensure all operations comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Identify new business opportunities, prepare cost estimates, proposals, and project bids to expand the company’s capabilities.
Mentor and develop supervisors and tradespeople to build a motivated, high-performing team.
Oversee project execution, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet project goals on safety, budget, and schedule.
Work closely with internal teams like Maintenance, HSE, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure seamless operations and successful project delivery.
Monitor and control financial performance, including forecasting and cost management, to ensure profitability.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in mechanical and electrical services, within the oil & gas industry.
3–5 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity, with strong leadership competencies and a record of successful job bidding and contract acquisition.
Strong technical knowledge in fabrication and structural services.
Journeyman trade certification (preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
