Job Summary
Reporting to Manager, Training and Systems Support, this position supports the Technical Operations Aircraft maintenance management system (AMOS) with process improvements relating to Financial Management. Including process flows, system workflows, scheduler tasks, technical assistance and organizational configurations and settings.
Duties & Responsibilities
Support Technical Operations by providing process improvements and technical support to users relating to financial management
Document Financial Management related processes and support training development for end users
User acceptance testing and validation of AMOS processes
Implement financial configurations and settings upon request from departments to improve the organisational use of AMOS
Provide complex report requirements to ACC teams for development
Act as a liaison between Finance Department, IT Support, AMOS Support and other AMOS business users
Responsible for ensuring the financial stability of AMOS to ensure that financial continuity and integrity are maintained throughout the organization
Support department reporting requirements through workflows and scheduler tasks
Assist in the implementation of new and updated AMOS programs
Assist with system auditing to ensure Regulatory Compliance and Financial statement compliance.
Participate in regular organisational meetings
Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including, reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy

Qualifications
Must have experience working with ERP financial accounting systems
Experience working with aviation companies is an asset
Experience with aviation maintenance management software systems is an asset
High level of computing and software skills/knowledge
Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive unit
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced and flexible work environment
Good written and verbal communication skills
