What is the opportunity?
RBC's Advice Centre Data Analytics team extracts powerful insights from comprehensive advice center datasets using advanced NLP, machine learning, and Generative AI. We build innovative services and products that transform advisor-client interactions by mining conversation data, transaction patterns, and engagement metrics. This role focuses on developing AI-powered data products and services. You'll create analytical solutions that optimize advice delivery and directly impact how millions of Canadians receive financial guidance.
What will you do?
Execute machine learning strategy and lead MLOps implementation
Identify workload drivers and understand client experience through data analytics
Design and develop advanced data products using state-of-the-art NLP/ML methodologies
Explore, train, fine-tune, and evaluate machine learning models
Support daily operations by applying NLP/ML expertise to business projects and inquiries
Ensure model performance, compliance, and risk reduction across all solutions
Extend capabilities to French language to meet regulatory requirements
Research latest NLP/ML trends and provide strategic recommendations for business use cases
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
Strong data, analytical, quantitative method and problem-solving skills
Expertise in analyzing and manipulating large datasets with Python
Experience developing and applying NLP/ML models in enterprise environments
Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent
Nice to have:
Master of Data Science or equivalent
Familiarity with cloud environments
