Based in Montréal and reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Senior Director of Operations is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing all activities related to property management, ensuring both the physical and financial health of the assets while maintaining positive and harmonious tenant relationships.
Analyze, monitor, and rigorously control the quality of services provided to tenants.
Oversee, develop, and train the personnel under your responsibility.
Participate in the development of policies and operating standards for the properties under management, and ensure their application.
Ensure compliance with laws, codes, and regulations related to public safety and asset protection.
Oversee the updating and implementation of emergency procedures.
Prepare, negotiate, and supervise contractual specifications with suppliers.
Supervise and develop Capex budgets and maintain an advanced understanding of them.
Keep accounts receivable at their lowest possible level and ensure proper follow-up.
Ensure high-quality service delivery to tenants.
Implement strategic property management practices to control expenses.
Handle special or exceptional cases requiring specific attention.
Prepare life cycle cost forecasts.
Manage KPIs and survey scorecards.
Perform any other related duties.
Proactively manage health and safety within the team.
Qualifications
Hold a bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration, engineering, urban planning, or architecture, or possess equivalent experience.
Have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a similar role.
Hold one of the following certifications: CFM, FMP, or RPA.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
