What is the opportunity?
The Senior Manager, Product Enablement & Business Management will have end-to-end accountability for Business Readiness and Go-to-Market activities for RBC Insurance Wealth and Travel, along with business management activities within RBCI Product & Pricing. This role will be responsible for the delivery and execution of the RBCI strategic roadmap, enabled by strong partnerships within Product & Pricing and across RBC Insurance and effective tracking of key success metrics. The incumbent plays a pivotal role in supporting the development of RBCI Product & Pricing strategic objectives, ensuring alignment across prioritized initiatives to strengthen RBC’s leadership position within the Insurance industry to achieving its Realize 2026 business objectives.
What will you do
Supports key Business Management activities within Product & Pricing, including the development of P&P OKRs and key priorities, ensuring cross-product alignment as the strategic roadmap is developed.
Supports key performance management activities, including QBRs, Board Reports and OKR Alignment, to provide executive oversight on how RBC Insurance is tracking to business objectives.
Maintain and monitor the Product & Pricing roadmap, collaborating with leaders to identify opportunities, synergies and tradeoffs to enhance the client experience, increase profitability, improve efficiencies, and reduce client attrition.
Owns Business Readiness and Go-to-Market for the RBC Insurance Wealth and Travel roadmap, working in conjunction with key internal partners (Product & Pricing, Digital, Operations, Sales, Marketing etc.) to bring the product roadmap to life.
Involved in strategic initiatives to help grow our business
Acts as the primary Product partner within Product and with Digital and data partners for new product launches using agile ways of working in support of the Product and Pricing Strateg
o Responsible for building the right product and to be the voice of the customer (e.g. external customer, etc.) to the Digital Teams, IT, SMEs, and agile teams/resources assigned
o To ensure optimal delivery, drive business readiness activities in collaboration with key partners to launch solutions and measure outcomes
o Prioritization of scope within the constraints of budget and timelines.
o Assist with timely decision making that supports optimal team velocity
o Establish and report on key measures of success
Understands and evaluates current state and takes business objectives, client preferences and the competitive landscape into consideration to create alignment with our business strategy and drives prioritize for greatest value and benefit
Develop business cases for any acquisition initiatives and work with business and functional partners to identify and assess risks ahead of product launches and to help develop effective mitigation strategies.
Identifies and monitors key success metrics, reporting results to partners and leadership.
What will you need to succeed?
Must have
University Degree or Equivalent.
5-7 years Insurance industry experience, or related consulting experience, with a preference in Wealth (annuities and/or seg funds) or Travel Insurance
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build and leverage partnerships with cross-functional and external stakeholders to drive execution on strategic roadmap
Adaptable to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
Storyboarding and business casing, with strong financial acumen
Innovative outlook, capable of thinking outside the box to develop ideas and solutions
Nice to have
MBA or equivalent masters degree
