Qualifications:
Registered in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) or currently meet the eligibility criteria to register in good standing in the Temporary Class or General Class with the CNO
Graduate of a recognized College or School of Nursing
Baccalaureate Degree preferred
One year recent Obstetrical experience preferred
Completion of an Obstetric Nursing Certificate Program from an accredited community college preferred
Current BCLS
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program certificate (NRP) required
Fetal Health Surveillance certification required
Breastfeeding course required
Demonstrates excellent communication skills and team work- Demonstrates strong attention to therapeutic relationships and patient and family-centered care
Computer literacy
Satisfactory attendance and performance record required
