Job Description What is the opportunity? In this role you will be joining the Middleware team as a developer working on the infrastructure code base for z/OS message and file delivery. The role will coordinate, develop, lead, communicate and execute activities to ensure objectives are accomplished in a timely manner. What will you do? As a Technical Systems Analyst on the Data Delivery Middleware Technology team, you will be responsible for development, support, troubleshooting the internal RBC middleware applications, and reengineering applications to use newer technology and standards. Continuously identify potential issues, conflicts, and risks. Analyze, mitigate and escalate where appropriate Work on development of the code base in order to uplift and modernize. Fix bugs, rewrite functions and develop new code as needed. Develop and execute on end-to-end change management plans and execute all communication related to these. Collaborate and contribute on projects/issues working closely with App Dev partners, Operations, other IT groups, and vendors, as required, ensuring high-quality implementations and internal operations processes What do you need to succeed? Must-have: Undergraduate degree coupled with change management/development experience in complex programs with high frequency of requests and multiple priorities. Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities. Supporting multiple user application and infrastructure teams with troubleshooting issues in a timely manner A strong understanding of code development process in the z/OS mainframe environment. Good grasp of C coding language. Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high-quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously. Nice-to-have: Experience with REXX, z/OS ASSEMBLER, Cobol, JCL, IMS, CICS, ServiceNow, Github Ability to facilitate between and influence key decision makers Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses What's in it for you?
