About the team: The Enterprise Customer and Operations (EC&O) portfolio’s purpose is to enable ASX to run better, and this role primarily supports the running of the portfolio in an efficient and effective manner. Put yourself in the middle of ASX. The Business Management, Strategy and Planning team is the key team responsible for the management of the Enterprise Customer and Operations (EC&O) Portfolio. Working directly with the Chief Operating Officer, our primary purpose is the strategic alignment and health of the portfolio. We collaborate with senior leaders within the portfolio daily, as well as key stakeholders across the organisation in Finance, People and Culture and the Lines of Business (LoBs). What you will be doing: How we do things at ASX is just as important as what we do. This means, if you're a people leader, you will be responsible for both the core duties outlined below, and providing leadership to your team to ensure we foster a collaborative, inclusive team environment, where people feel empowered, accountable, and deeply connected (as outlined in our Leadership Principles). Liaise with senior managers and team members for analysis and tracking of committed initiatives. Analyse and interpret work across EC&O to produce Board reporting, Portfolio Business Review (PBR), Monthly Business Review (MBR) and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) reporting. Coordinate the compilation and submission of EC&O reporting including board reports. Central coordination point for EC&O for quarterly planning, collaborating with the teams to produce detailed road maps for each quarter. Support the Head of Business Management and the Business Manager, Enterprise Customer and Operations in the annual planning cycle. Support EC&O team in preparation of initiatives and business requirements, including relevant artefacts. Support EC&O in liaising with counterparts in the LoBs to understand dependencies, constraints, and associated requirements for initiatives. Support the Business Manager, Enterprise Customer and Operations and working closely with the Finance Business Partner in reporting financial and business performance measures. Proactively identify and implement opportunities to streamline reporting and analytical processes for cross-functional teams, enhancing efficiency and impact. Provide high-quality, ad hoc analytical support to both the Strategic Programs Office and Regulatory Operations team, delivering insights and recommendations that inform strategic initiatives, compliance efforts, and process improvements across the EC&O portfolio. What you will bring: Must have Minimum 3 years’ experience in analytical roles, with a proven track record of delivering insights that drive business outcomes. Exceptional ability to balance strategic vision with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring both the big picture and finer points are addressed. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to influence and facilitate across all levels of the organisation. Demonstrated agility in fast-paced, evolving environments; thrives on change and adapts quickly to new challenges. Strong independent work ethic, complemented by a collaborative mindset and a passion for team success. Advanced problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing business challenges. Proficiency in interpreting budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations. Nice to have: Experience producing board-level documentation that informs and influences executive decision-making. Exposure to change management initiatives and a track record of positively influencing user behaviour. Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) for project tracking and documentation.
