About the Role:
The Brand Associate - New Platform Marketing will be responsible for the planning and coordination of marketing initiatives for Corus’ streaming services and emerging platforms (STACKTV, TELETOON+, Global TV App). Reporting to the Manager, New Platform Marketing, you will work with marketing strategists for each of Corus’ streaming products as well as in-house Creative, Media, PR, Digital, Social, and Brand teams to plan and execute marketing campaigns.
You will contribute by:
Coordinate creative advertising production for STACKTV, TELETOON+ and the Global TV App across TV, radio, pre-roll, display, social, and search assets.
Work closely with the Brand Manager to support in executing the marketing strategy for each of Corus’ New Platforms products.
Manage end-to-end delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including work-back schedules, deadline management, and ensuring all assets meet technical and quality standards.
Maintain organized campaign workflows, documentation, and version control to ensure accurate and timely execution.
Liaise with Corus’ On-Air promotion team to leverage non-commercial broadcast inventory to promote New Platforms products.
Build and maintain a centralized marketing asset library to support internal teams and streaming platform partners.
Responsible for ensuring all creative assets and required deliverables for marketing campaigns and initiatives are delivered to the appropriate cross-functional teams and external partners.
Assist in the planning, strategy, and execution of all marketing projects for Corus’ streaming services. Including brainstorming on new marketing opportunities and collaborating with network + brand marketing teams.
Stay current on industry trends, tools, and best practices to continually enhance marketing effectiveness.
Work with in-house media, social and creative agencies to brief, plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
Act as brand steward to ensure all touch points (incl. on-air, online/social, sales, multi-platform, and programming) are on-brand and on-strategy.
Monitor performance and leverage insights to recommend performance improvement strategies and plans.
Maintaining and updating required marketing grids, trackers, and project documentation.
Skills and experience you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent
2-4 years of marketing or advertising experience in an agency or in-house environment.
A firm understanding of integrated marketing campaigns, including Creative, Media, PR, Research, Social, Web and Product Design.
Proven track record of managing projects that require the coordination of multiple teams delivering against deadlines.
A strategic thinker with an eye for impactful advertising/creative, able to support the development of effective campaigns.
Experience working with advertising creative and production teams. Delivering a variety of media assets (including Online Video, Display Ads, Social, and TV/Radio).
Fluent use of Microsoft Office (Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.). Experience using Microsoft SharePoint would be ideal.
Understanding of how to write a marketing brief and experience briefing creative and media teams.
Effective written and oral communication skills. A strong collaborator and ability to manage expectations with multiple stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and experience creating work back schedules or project management documents.
Experience working on a streaming service or entertainment industry is considered an asset.
A passion for building brands and working with new products.
Data-driven and curious/analytical by nature.
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external partners.
A ‘big picture’ perspective, yet willing to ‘roll up the sleeves’ and do whatever it takes to get the job done.
