e4c’s Long-Term Supported Housing program provides a safe, stable home to individuals who face complex mental health and addiction challenges. Our approach centers on a trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and harm-reduction model. In this role, you serve individuals who, due to histories of trauma and related mental illness and addictions, require enhanced levels of housing support. The Site Manager position reports to the Program Manager and provides key support to the team to ensure the program is running in a way that meets both residents’ specific needs and agency and funder requirements. The Site Manager works alongside the daytime shift and is responsible for overseeing day-to-day program operations and maintaining the vision and practice standards for all staff on site.
Key Accountabilities:
Operational Management
- Manage the operational cycle and plan service delivery to meet program outcomes.
- Partner with the Program Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Coordinate program information including client files, staff documentation, reports, statistics, and communication with stakeholders.
- Ensure implementation of safety protocols and leading practices.
Leadership
- Support staff through performance observation, feedback, and documentation.
- Foster a collaborative, supportive culture among residents and staff.
- Review care plans, life skills goals, wellness needs, and community goals with the multidisciplinary team.
- Lead debriefs following critical incidents and support staff in protocol adherence.
Community Development
- Build and model positive relationships with neighbors and the community.
- Collaborate with other e4c programs to support community building through activities, events, and relationship-building efforts.
Administrative
- Maintain accurate financial records following agency guidelines.
- Prepare required reports and budget projections.
- Maintain accreditation, licensing, and accommodation standards by monitoring documentation and communications.
What you bring to the team:
- Degree or diploma in human services, education, and/or administration
- 5+ years of supervisory experience with strong leadership skills
- Proven ability to foster teamwork and provide reflective supervision
- Lived experience relating to addictions, mental illness, racism, discrimination, or poverty is an asset
- Experience working in collaborative partnerships
- Knowledge and experience with harm reduction, trauma-informed, person-centered care, natural law, behavior modification, and solution-focused approaches
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License, proof of insurance, registration, and 5-year driver’s abstract
