MediSystem Pharmacy, a Shoppers Drug Mart Company, is an established specialty pharmacy that provides pharmaceutical dispensing and clinical pharmacy consulting services to long term care facilities across Canada. About the Role: The Pharmacy Coordinator provides day-to-day support for the pharmacy and other operations initiatives. What you will do: Fully trained in the reorder role and process Some involvement in prescription information management Ensure appropriate follow up on minor issues Synchronization and collaboration with other departments Responsible to coordinate and execute any billing adjustments required at the site level Ensure organization of work stations and inventory shelves Maintain appropriate supplies and materials Present a professional, welcoming contact to all clients, vendors, staff, etc. by phone, in person, and email Maintain sign in log, issue temporary badges and ensure area is prepared for employees visiting from other sites Responsible for development and implementation of efficient office systems: filing systems, record retention systems Financial coding and acquiring signatures for all invoices; scan each invoice with financial info and obtain approvals as required As an indirect Vendor Data Steward, update vendor and supplier contact and financial information Responsible for keeping office equipment maintained Responsible for incoming and outgoing mail Prepare various reports as requested What you will need: Excellent communication skills and customer service skills Detail oriented Ability to prioritize work assignments Ability to adapt to change Experience working in a fast-paced environment where high attention to detail and accuracy is essential Ability to work and maneuver quickly and consistently for extended periods of time Positive, cooperative, and team-oriented attitude Computer skills to produce reports, documents and presentations • High School Diploma Employment Type: Full time Type of Role: Regular Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. recognizes Canada's diversity as a source of national pride and strength.
