Position Overview: The Re-cuts position involves performing recuts of damaged or missing pieces for the Production floor and Cutting Room mistakes from remnant rolls. This role ensures the matching of shades for recut pieces for in-house production and Cutting Room issues, and the timely return of recut pieces to maintain the flow in the production floor. What You’ll Do: Perform recuts of damaged or missing pieces for the Production floor and Cutting Room mistakes. Match shades for recut pieces for in-house production and Cutting Room issues. Return recut pieces in a timely manner to maintain production flow. Utilize knowledge of pattern pieces, notches, and drill holes. Work with different types of fabric to recognize the right side and thread direction. Operate scissors and vertical knife cutter efficiently. Maintain a good command of English for effective communication. Let's Talk About You: Knowledgeable about pattern pieces, notches, and drill holes. Experienced with different types of fabric to recognize the right side and thread direction. Skilled in using scissors and vertical knife cutter. Detail-oriented with a good understanding of numbers.
