This role oversees 37–60 critical applications and manages a growing team of 11 professionals. While not a hands-on coding role, the ideal candidate will possess strong technical acumen and a deep understanding of production support environments. You will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, driving process improvements, managing risk, and delivering key performance metrics. This position requires strategic leadership combined with technical expertise across Mainframe, CRM, Data & Analytics, and modern technologies such as Cloud, GenAI, and SageMaker. Key Responsibilities Operational Oversight: Level 3 escalation support to assist with and, restore service, and manage day-to-day activities for mission-critical systems (24/7/365). Ensure business service levels are met across infrastructure, applications, and security. Coordinate Incident Management and engage third-party providers during major incidents. Team Leadership: Lead and grow a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement. Coach, mentor, and develop talent while managing performance and career progression. Strategic & Process Improvement: Identify and implement operational efficiencies, risk mitigation strategies, and automation opportunities. Define and track KPIs; develop dashboards for real-time performance monitoring. Technology & Production Support: Oversee production support for Mainframe, CRM, and Data platforms. Ensure smooth deployment and operability of applications and infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and maintain system stability. Participate on post-mortem reviews and RCA Innovation & Modernization: Drive adoption of emerging technologies including Cloud, GenAI, and AWS SageMaker. Promote best practices in monitoring, logging, and alerting across environments. Required Skills & Experience 7–10 years of experience in IT operations or technology management. Proven experience in production support for mission-critical systems. Strong understanding of Mainframe, CRM, Data & Analytics platforms. Technical proficiency in: SQL, Python, Salesforce, Mainframe systems Cloud technologies (AWS preferred) GenAI, SageMaker Expertise in incident & problem management, risk assessment, and KPI tracking. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex technology environments. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Familiar with AIOps practices and incident predictability Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
