What to Expect:
The Quality Security, Safety & Health (QSSH) Specialist will support the Technical & Quality Management department to push the implementation of quality-related processes (incl. NMS- Nestlé Management system) which will concern both our customers and employees. This role has responsibility to act as key contact/ train of Nespresso Retail Boutiques as well as some Head office / Distribution Center / After Sales service Repair centers.
A day in the life:
The job requires active partnership and good communication with the different departments within the company and active participation in cultivating Quality and safety Culture. Must be able to train departments on QSSH in simple terms and provide more technical expertise and best practice & support
Role Requirements
• Business partner, trainer and support to Retail Boutique, Head office teams in safety and quality management.
• Prepares safety and quality risks assessments
• Contribute to the internal audit program in Boutiques, warehouses, Repair Canters, outsourcers, and follow through on the implementation of action plans/recommendations.
• Manage investigations related to security or quality incidents.
• Lead projects to assure quality & safety awareness throughout the organization, lead projects to reduce top complaints.
Collaborate with stakeholders to verify that all product packaging (including coffee, machines, and accessories) meets applicable regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
• Assist with annual traceability exercise
• Participate in the update and maintain the Nestlé Management System (NMS).
• Subject Matter Expert in Quality and Safety, shares best practice and corporate guidelines for quality and safety with internal stakeholders
•Prepare quality, health and safety related communication: Training modules, protocols, Security, Health & Safety Awareness letters.
• Provide coaching and training in quality and safety topics for BTQ staff / Boutique Quality Coaches
• Develop, monitor and analyse trending to ensure improvements or action plans can be implemented.
• Leads and contributes to ad hoc projects aimed at enhancing quality and safety standards
Preferred Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Quality, Health and Safety
• 5 to 8 years' work experience in a related field
• Ability to work with clear deadlines / results oriented
• Very customer minded attitude
• Knowledge of Quality, health, and Safety Management System/ ISO 9001, ISO 45 00, et ISO 14001.
• Ability to assess and write Quality related processes,
• Great organizational skills
• Ability to continually improve own knowledge through self-study
• Ability to train people
• Good knowledge of MS office (word, excel, power point)
• Good analytic capacities
• Initiative & creativity
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organization skills, presentation development skills, and attention to detail. Ability to produce and communicate concepts and recommendations clearly, concisely, and persuasively
• Willingness to travel across Canada (approx. 25-30 %)
• Bilingual French/English (spoken and written) required.
