Warehouse Lead Status: Regular, Full time Location: Edmonton, Alberta Job Description Reports to the Warehouse Manager KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Ensure labor is distributed according to workload, Help enforce Policies and Procedures, all order timelines are being met (75%). Be a conscientious employee by acting professionally, respectfully, and in leading by example to ensure high morale and safety is maintained at all times in the warehouse (20%). Liaise effectively with sales and administrative personnel to ensure interdepartmental communication is timely and accurate (5%). MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES All duties associated with Warehouse Clerk, Cutter and Forklift Operator Workflow: Lead team members efficiently to complete orders in a timely manner Quality Control: Lead quality initiatives Health and Safety: Assist in H&S initiatives, drive Hazard Identification Assist and train employees on internal processes Oversee and lead order preparation Delegate work and advise multiple team members on duties Review Order Package –Verify product quantities ensuring that there is enough product to fulfill order, if not communicate any discrepancies Ensure Final Inspection of product Ensure General Housekeeping duties are maintained QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent. 5 years warehouse experience including forklift operations 3 years experience with Inventory Control Systems Experience with Rubicon ERP an asset Health and Safety Committee experience Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written Mechanical aptitude, including knowledge and use of hand tools and forklifts Team player with effective time management and problem-solving skills Strong computer skills: proficient in the Microsoft Office suites (specifically MS Excel) Ability to lift a maximum amount of 50lbs as required Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and perform various tasks requiring lifting, reaching, bending, walking, squatting, and kneeling First Aid certification, an asset What’s in it for you We are a major player, involved in the energy transformation in Canada.
