To oversee the day to day operation of the Mississauga Distribution Center. Focusing on the continuous improvement in executing activities of the distribution Centre. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a high level of morale and dedication within the hourly staff at the Mississauga Distribution Centre Provide support and guidance to the Mississauga Logistics and CSR Specialists as required Provide support and guidance to the Shipping Office as required 5% Daily Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operation of the Mississauga Distribution Centre Reception and workload planning and execution Coaching and Developing of Hourly Employees Manage KPI’S of Hourly Employees Maintain SOP’s accuracy Support Shipping office staff by trouble shooting system/order processing concerns Ensure customer returns managed daily Manage all transportation appointments inbounds and outbounds directly with carriers ADHOC planning and supporting last minute urgencies Maintaining Payroll in Kronos for Hourly Staff Managing Hourly Vacation and Absence schedule Ordering of Supplies (Cheps, White Boards, Tape, Wrap, Plastic Pallets) Assist with any special project planning and execute any implementation as required On floor support 70% and 30% administrative support Manage day to day communication with external and internal customers in an effective and timely manner Owner and point of contact for any CBA related issues Maintain Operating Budgets Other Duties, Projects and requirements as identified by the business or leader 40% Inventory Control’s Compliance & Accuracy Execute daily Cycle counting program Conduct Inventory Counts and reconciliations Responsible for accurate inventory controls Ensure Inbound Receiving Accuracy and communicate effectively receiving errors to operators Manage noncompliant receipts from production facilities Verification of Import products as arrive daily and communicate with Logistics and CSR Specialists Ensure product holds and releases are actioned as required, and communicated Ensure notes are put into the system with dates and why on hold Report Non-Wine receiving discrepancies to Wine Rack /RJ Merchandising Manager Identify opportunities to increase control and accuracy Investigate pick ticket issues along with inventory issues Ensure we follow FEFO/FIFO Issue NCR’s to vendors Inventory at Risk Management Controls Ensure customer return and damage locations are maintained daily Inventory daily Integrity Maintenance Identify process improvements opportunities to increase order accuracy and compliance Cleaning of damage locations daily Maintaining and reconciliation of virtual locations daily 40% Health and Safety Support objectives of the Health & Safety Committee Ensuring Health and Safety of all Employees at the Mississauga DC Follow Preventative Maintenance Program Ensuring all Hourly Staff Certifications are up to date Ensure compliance of ISO and HACCP guidelines Owner of yearly GMP, ISO and HACCP audits Conduct monthly MDC JHSC inspections 15% Qualifications: Education Minimum Required: Secondary School Diploma Preferred: Post-secondary education in General Business/Administration/Supply Chain or related discipline is an asset Experience 1-2 years comparable experience 1-2 years of supervisory experience Qualifications, Certifications or Designations MHE Certification Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment Advanced communication skills Advanced coordination skills Intermediate computer skills including database and computer applications Demonstrated ability to multi task Attention to detail Organization and planning skills COMPENSATION: Budgeted Range – ($78,200.00 - $101,200.00) The budgeted range takes into account several factors and qualifications that are considered in making compensation decisions including experience, education, training, licenses, certifications, and other business and organizational requirements.
