We are seeking a Property Administrator to support our Eastern Canada team and their Montreal based portfolio.
Responsibilities:
As a Property Administrator, you will play a vital role in managing residential accounts and supporting property operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing professional and courteous responses to resident inquiries, ensuring exceptional customer service.
Processing daily resident activities: move-ins/outs, rent and parking adjustments, deposits, and discharges.
Managing rental payments, creating deposits and receipt batches, and scanning cheques using Yardi 7S and BMO deposit edge.
Administering rent increases.
Reading, reconciling, and explaining resident ledgers.
Preparing monthly aging reports and explaining long-standing arrears.
Issuing rent reminders and legal notices.
Preparing documents for legal counsel for TAL proceedings.
Coordinating with legal for delinquent accounts and supporting rent collection efforts.
Processing cheque requisitions and reconciling annual rent statements.
Uploading and matching vendor invoices to purchase orders.
Processing payments using Payscan and understanding Yardi workflows.
Collaborating with site and admin teams to resolve invoice issues.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with:
Minimum 2 years of experience in real estate accounts receivable administration.
Strong knowledge of the Civil Code of Québec and the Tribunal administratif du logement.
Strong understanding of customer service
Experience with accounts payable processing including purchase order management, vendor relations, invoice coding, and integrated approval workflows.
Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Yardi Voyager 7S or similar real estate software.
Highly proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and PDF file creation and modification.
Bilingual (French and English)
