Location: Regency Retirement Resorts have 8 locations in the Okanagan, including Vernon, Penticton, West Kelowna, and Kelowna. This position is on site at Kelowna. Job Description: Under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be performing housekeeping and cleaning activities in all areas of the Resort within established guidelines and procedures as assigned. Key Responsibilities: Maintain professional conduct, grooming, and appearance in line with resort standards. Clean and disinfect Resident suites, public areas, offices, washrooms, and common areas. Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing laundry. Restock housekeeping supplies and report damaged or inoperable equipment. Respond to unscheduled cleaning needs due to the Resident population. Foster a team environment through positive interactions with staff and departments. Ensure confidentiality of Resident and organizational information, promoting their health, safety, and happiness. Reports damaged or inoperable equipment, furniture and fixtures to the Housekeeping Supervisor. Assist with new employee orientation and perform other related duties as assigned. Here is what we look for. Education and Experience: Related housekeeping experience an asset. WHMIS Skills for Success: Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Mentally and physically able to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. Able to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds Wage and Hours of Work This is a casual part-time position with a temporary set schedule which may transition into a permanent role, averaging 22.5 hours per week over three shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
