Job Description AltaGas - Digital Compliance Specialist The Digital Risk & Compliance Specialist plays a critical role in safeguarding AltaGas’s digital ecosystem. This position ensures the organization maintains a strong risk posture by developing and implementing compliance strategies that meet legal, regulatory, and industry standards for cybersecurity and data privacy. You will collaborate across Audit, Enterprise Risk, Legal, and Digital teams to identify vulnerabilities, assess threats, and strengthen controls that protect our digital infrastructure and assets. You will: Review and update Digital policies and standards with subject matter experts. Ensure compliance with IT-related regulatory requirements (e.g., C-SOX, NACHA, TSA, State Data Protection Acts). Maintain the digital risk and issue register; design and track controls and mitigations. Prepare and manage risk assessments, including risk acceptance and policy exceptions. Evaluate third-party vendors for cybersecurity compliance. Conduct risk and compliance reviews for projects and new initiatives. Coordinate remediation activities from internal and external audits. Perform self-assessments to validate compliance with Digital policies and standards. Partner with control owners to address audit findings and implement corrective actions. Provide clear reporting to Digital and Business Leadership on audit and compliance status. Develop integrity reports and monitoring controls for continuous compliance. Build strong relationships with process owners and audit teams through collaboration. Pursue ongoing professional development and share knowledge with peers. You have: Bachelor’s degree preferred 5+ years in Digital Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC); Big 4 experience is a plus. Professional certifications (CISA, CISSP, CRISC, or CISM) required or in progress. Hands-on experience with C-SOX or SOX compliance. Strong background in risk management and risk assessments. Expertise in evaluating internal controls and identifying key IT/business risks. Familiarity with frameworks such as COBIT, NIST, ISF, and ISO.
