Overview
Adastra is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack/ DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role is critical for designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure with Terraform, ensuring automation, scalability, and security across AWS environments. You will also collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices into full-stack applications.
Location: Hybrid 3-days on-site - Toronto / NYC
Status: Contract
Duration: December 2025 - March 2026; potential extension
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform to ensure repeatability, scalability, and security
Develop reusable Terraform modules and enforce best practices for version control and state management
Deploy and manage applications on AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3)
Implement automated build, test, and deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions
Apply best practices for authentication/authorization, REST APIs, and microservices architecture
Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
Hands-on experience with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (GitHub Actions preferred)
Strong understanding of cloud security, microservices architecture, and REST APIs
Working knowledge of Python and Angular for collaboration with development teams
