Job Description
CEDA is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Scheduler to assist with the execution of project schedules using Primavera P6. This position is based in Edmonton at NOVA Joffre site.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop, update, and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 for all phases of project execution
Support the integration of engineering, procurement, and project schedules
Create standard and custom schedules and charts using Primavera P6
Export and import data between Primavera and other databases
Responsible for understanding the complete project scope, project schedule objectives as well as supporting and maintaining a plan and schedule to accomplish objectives
Support project forecasting, change management, and schedule integration across disciplines
Support the integration of all activity sequences and logics with the total project plan
Ensure accurate schedules, resource, quantities, progress, and performance reporting
Independently monitor critical and near critical path work and identifies issues for mitigation.
Proactively assesses progress, completion forecasts and provides solutions to mitigate schedule delays or to optimize project completion
Evaluate the project progress against historical indicators and provides comparative analysis
Support the implementation of scheduling and progress metrics and monitoring systems
Qualifications:
5+ years of Primavera scheduling experience in a similar role
Experience with project controls is an asset
Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex project controls issues
Recent advanced level working knowledge of Primavera 6, Excel, and Access
Must be able to work overtime and adapt to changing work schedules
Advanced verbal and written communication skills
