Applications are invited for the position of Part-Time Professor – Electrical, within the School of Trades. This position will commence January 2026. This position will also require in-person teaching at our Welland campus.
Reporting to the Associate Dean, School of Trades, this exciting role requires the successful candidate to provide academic leadership while creating a positive and accessible learning environment for our diverse student population.
Required qualifications:
Certificate of Qualification (442A or 309A) – Maintenance or Construction Electrician
A minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience in electrical maintenance
Demonstrated knowledge of excellent teaching and learning practices
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse student populations
Evidence of integrating technology effectively into teaching practices
Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred candidates may also possess:
Competency in curriculum delivery and evaluation
Experience teaching math at a post-secondary level
