WHO WE ARE
Our roots stretch back to 1911, when we were founded in Canada as an evangelism and Scripture distribution ministry led by a national membership of volunteers. Over the decades our ministry has broadened to inviting women and men of all vocations to share the gospel with innovative new Scripture resources alongside local church partners. In 2015, ShareWord Global was launched to help expand the work in more regions within Canada and around the world.
ShareWord Global (SWG) is a ministry committed to engaging the global Church to do one simple thing: go! Our mission is to ignite and fuel a passion in people’s hearts to share the gospel—training and equipping them, as a community of believers, to effectively introduce people to Jesus through God’s Word. SWG fuels the movement to “go!” and reach more people with the gospel through relational evangelism and training, innovative Scripture resources, and by partnering with local churches worldwide.

THE OPPORTUNITY
The Marketing & Communications Project Manager is the primary point-person responsible for vetting, planning, executing, and delivering all MarCom projects in scope, on time, within budget, and in accordance with specifications. To achieve these important goals, the Project Manager will lead the definition of project requirements and scope, acquire/assign project resources, and supervise the efforts of project team members. Efficient
delivery of project deliverables, effective quality control, clear communication of expectations to stakeholders (particularly in the use of ClickUp), and upward reporting to senior management are critical tasks that must be performed throughout each project’s lifecycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Communications Project Management (60%)
Act as point person for all new project requests for MarCom
Collaborate in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant MarCom team members and stakeholders
Maintain and expand/improve ClickUp usage including the use of templates
Ensure dates on all projects are accurate after loading in PM software
Expand reporting from PM software as defined in planning with VP, MarCom
Lead weekly team production meetings to ensure all project are moving and blockers have solutions in place
Where applicable, establish a Project Charter for each approved project, defining the projects goals, objectives, risks, assumptions, staffing levels, roles and responsibilities, work breakdown structure, milestones, and deliverables.
Ensure projects are delivered on-time and within scope
Manage project priorities and changes, while making improvements where possible
Produce regular reports (status, escalations, etc.) on the progress of projects; deliver these reports during regular stakeholder meetings
Conduct project postmortems to identify areas for improvement; make recommendations based on findings.
Translation Management (10%)
In partnership with/oversight of the Production & Quality Assurance Coordinator:
Ensure timely delivery and completion of translations as it relates to project deadlines
Maximize the use of AI tools to grow our ability to translate strategic materials while simultaneously minimizing translation costs
As needed, find human translators to review translated copy for our primary marketing languages
Print & Production Management (10%)
Oversee print/production of marketing pieces
Perform regular reviews on production partners
Departmental & Customer Service (10%)
Collaborate with Project Managers from other departments (IT, Development, Ministry, Operations)
Support the ongoing growth of cross-departmental project management (using PM software and in partnership with the Project Manager Lead)
Serve as the Division’s customer service representative
Production Team Management (10%)
Define and communicate goals for the team
Develop hard and soft skills of the production team members through feedback and training (with particular eye for AI adoption)

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Deep appreciation for God’s Word and a passion to see the gospel shared with the world
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Creative problem-solving and adaptability in fast-paced environments
Thrive in supporting many projects at once, while ensuring excellence in all
Ability to work well independently and within collaborative, cross-departmental teams
3–5 years of experience in marketing project management, communications strategy, or related roles
Proven track record of managing multi-channel marketing campaigns and cross-functional projects
ASSETS
Completed post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a relevant field
Experience in B2B and/or B2C marketing environments
Certification in project management (PMP, Agile, or similar) is a plus
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com)
A working knowledge of all Microsoft Office and Apple products (Google Drive, MS Word, and Excel)
Ability to rally cross-functional teams and coordinate with stakeholders at all levels
Strong organizational and coordination skills with experience in managing production and coordinating details
