Job Description: Provides direct client care activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The General Duty Nurse is responsible and accountable for the provision of safe client care services and programs. Job description is available upon request.

Education
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing (BPN)
Other Education and Training
Nursing diploma is acceptable
Knowledge and Abilities
Ability to apply principles and techniques to achieve optimum resident care
Ability to maintain client/patient/resident confidentiality
Requires concentration and attention for resident/patient assessment
Knowledge in Infection Prevention and Control standards
Knowledge of nursing services relating to the care of patients on rehabilitation
Establish and maintain good communication patterns
Commitment to service excellence, in quality improvement and risk management

Providing clinical experice including assessment and care planning for clients
Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Kelvington is located approximately 120 km east of Humboldt
