This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead high-impact communications in the global energy transition space. The successful candidate will transform complex policy research into compelling content for international audiences, shaping narratives on clean energy, climate mitigation, and sustainable finance. You will manage multi-channel campaigns, collaborate with researchers and policymakers, and drive media engagement across global forums. This position requires strategic thinking, strong editorial judgment, and the ability to synthesize technical insights into accessible messaging. You will influence public discourse, support advocacy efforts, and amplify thought leadership on international energy transitions. The role combines creativity, project management, and international collaboration in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment.

Accountabilities:
Develop and execute communications strategies for major projects, campaigns, and high-profile research initiatives.
Plan, prioritize, and coordinate the production of press releases, articles, newsletters, social media content, and digital materials.
Collaborate with design teams to produce engaging digital content, including infographics, videos, and presentations.
Oversee newsletter production, including drafting editorials and ensuring timely distribution.
Manage media relations, including building journalist contacts, drafting press releases, op-eds, and media briefings, and facilitating media training for experts.
Monitor the media landscape and policy discourse to identify high-impact communication opportunities.
Support international collaboration by aligning communication priorities with global stakeholders and internal teams.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in communications, journalism, political science, economics, environmental, or development studies.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in journalism, communications, or media relations.
Experience in public policy, climate, finance, or energy communications is essential.
Strong writing, editing, and oral communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
Proven ability to translate complex research into clear, accessible messages for policy and public audiences.
Excellent project management, organizational, and strategic planning skills.
Experience collaborating internationally or with emerging/developing markets is highly desirable.
