Marshall Land Systems is seeking an Industrial/Automotive Painter to join our team in Moncton, NB. Reporting to the Paint Supervisor, this role is responsible for preparing and finishing deployable shelters and related components to precise quality standards. Key activities include surface preparation, application of body fillers, sanding, masking, and coating. The position also requires proficiency in mixing, blending, and matching coatings to meet specified colour and finish requirements. Your responsibilities in the role: Prepping, sanding, applying body filler, priming and painting shelters and component parts. Must have the ability to mix, primer and paint, by weight and volume, in accordance with paint manufacturer’s specifications. Prepare parts and shelters to time, cost and quality. Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environment policies and procedures. Work in accordance with Paint shop procedures (Housekeeping and good working practices). Due to projected manufacturing demands, shift work and overtime may be required. Clean and maintain spray equipment. Apply undercoat to deployable shelters. Other duties as assigned. Apply if you have most of the following: Proven experience in a professional paint spraying role. Two years prior experience in prep and painting preferred. Ability to use HVLP gravity spray guns, as well as pressure pot. Knowledge of sandblasting, an asset. Commitment to high quality workmanship. Able to work well within a team and follow training with minimal supervision. Attention to detail and ability to follow processes and instructions. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with other stakeholders. Red Seal Painter preferred but not required. (Will consider equivalent of 5,400 hours of practical experience in an automotive painter occupation) Military Occupational Structure Identification – 00134 Material Technician are encouraged to apply. Must be eligible to meet the requirements of export control regulations, including the Canadian Controlled Goods Program and Canadian government security requirements.
