Job Title HVAC Apprentice Job Description Summary The HVAC Trade Assistant supports qualified HVAC technicians and electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves hands-on work, including handling tools, preparing materials, assisting with ductwork and piping, and ensuring job sites are clean and safe. The T/A plays a key role in ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Job Description Key Responsibilities: Assist HVAC technicians with installation and servicing of HVAC systems (ducted, split, VRF, etc.) Carry tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites Cut, assemble, and install ductwork and piping under supervision Perform basic electrical and mechanical tasks as directed Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow all health and safety procedures and site protocols Support with testing and commissioning of systems Record and report job progress and issues to supervisors Skills & Qualifications: Basic understanding of HVAC systems and components Physically fit and capable of manual labor Good communication and teamwork skills Willingness to learn and follow instructions Site Safe or equivalent safety certification (preferred) Full or restricted driver’s license (preferred) Pre-trade qualification or relevant experience (advantageous) Work Environment: Indoor and outdoor job sites, including commercial and residential buildings May involve working at heights, in confined spaces, or in varying weather conditions INCO: “Cushman & Wakefield” About Cushman & Wakefield Cushman & Wakefield (NYSE: CWK) is a global leader in real estate services, leveraging our specialized expertise to deliver innovative solutions and exceptional value to owners and occupiers.
