A Strategic Role at the Heart of Logistics As a Senior Legal Counsel, Real Estate in Intelcom's Legal Affairs Team, you will mainly play a key role in managing legal issues related to commercial real estate, but also work on other commercial matters, in a very fast-paced and hyper growth environment. You will work in close collaboration with internal stakeholders, including real estate, procurement, operations, sales and finance teams. Responsibilities Participate in the drafting, review and negotiation of various types of commercial contracts, including commercial leases and related real estate agreements, supply contracts, service contracts, purchase or sale agreements, licensing agreements, confidentiality agreements, etc.; Provide legal advice and opinions in various matters related to the company's activities, including applicable legislation and regulations; Participate in the identification of risks and the development of legal solutions for special projects, particularly in connection with real estate projects in Canada or other countries where we operate; Collaborate with other members of the Legal Affairs Team in organizing support for internal business departments and improving processes (including precedent management, automation and an AI acceleration project); Act as a watchdog to understand and anticipate legal trends and make appropriate recommendations; Coordinate files entrusted to external law firms; Carry out any other related tasks of a legal nature linked to the company's activities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in law; Be a member of the Barreau du Québec and/or of another Canadian province; 7-10 years' relevant experience in commercial real estate and commercial law acquired in a law firm and/or corporate legal department; Excellent command of Microsoft Office software; Ability to work with new technologies; Customer-focused “business partner” spirit, business acumen coupled with team spirit, demonstrating ability to work closely and develop strong relationships with people at all levels; Motivated, confident and professional attitude; Ability to work with minimum supervision, under pressure and to manage multiple competing priorities; The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.
