In this role, you will oversee and optimize maintenance activities while collaborating with a positive and dynamic team. This position will manage a team of maintenance technicians, prioritize tasks, and implement best practices to support operations at the Montreal Sulphur Plant. The role requires the ability to influence operations to ensure discipline and continuous improvement, in accordance with the maintenance management process. The position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager at the Montreal Refinery. Minimum Requirements: A college diploma and/or trade school diploma or equivalent experience A high school diploma Knowledge of the construction and maintenance trades Demonstrated experience in personnel management in heavy industry Strong leadership skills, communication skills, and teamwork abilities Knowledge of the collective agreement would be considered an asset Good organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Knowledge of the following software: SAP, OLT (Operator Log Tool), Enablon, Documentum, etc., would be an asset Fluency in French (spoken and written) with a working knowledge of English; please submit your resume in FRENCH Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate maintenance activities to optimize the use of resources, materials, and equipment Maintain a visible presence on the job site, leading and motivating your team of workers to ensure the proper execution of work Review and apply safe work standards, methods, and practices with a continuous improvement mindset to ensure safe and reliable work execution Coordinate work performed by contractors Participating as a maintenance foreman in planned shutdowns Ensure that maintenance activities meet the company's needs Evaluate, analyze, and improve the maintenance department's performance indicators related to the maintenance management process Creating a culture of operational excellence, fostering collaboration and an inclusive and respectful work environment Location and other Key Details: You will work out of our Montréal Sulphur Plant located at 11450 rue Cherrier, Montreal-Est Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs Why Suncor?
