POSITION DESCRIPTION: Performs product visual inspection and measurements to independently determine and promote conformance with quality standards, records inspection data and rejects nonconforming materials DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to: • Independently performs product visual inspection and measurements by assessing compliance to specifications, records inspection data and rejects nonconforming materials. • Participate in issue resolution. • Follow action plans when a non-conformance is detected. • Utilize Stop Call Wait and Escalate process for reoccurring defects to supervisors • Participate in Tier meetings as needed • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: • High School Diploma or equivalent. • Minimum 1-year working experience in electronics manufacturing Skills Required: • Basic computer skills • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)/Operations knowledge • Electronic Manufacturing Service (EMS) or equivalent experience. • IPC A-610 (inspection acceptance) or applicable standard (e.g. IPC-A600) • Proficient English verbal communication with Operators, Quality Team, and other partner teams What you need to know: You need to be legally eligible to work full-time in British Columbia, Canada for any employer Offer of employment contingent on successful background check Shift: Day (Monday to Friday, 7AM-3:30PM) This is a full time regular position Base Pay: The anticipated pay range for this position is CDN $20.00–$22.00 per hour.
