General Manager
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day business operations of the venues. Through the exercise of discretion and independent judgment, the General Manager has overall supervisory and managerial responsibility for the daily operations of the venues, ensuring desired outcomes (i.e., increased sales, profitability, and employee retention). The General Manager mobilizes the venue management team to oversee the financial controls, operations, people development, guest experience, and compliance within the venue.

What You’ll Do:
If it's happening at the venue, you are a part of it! Planning, executing, elevating the guest and team experience
Drive financial performance by increasing sales and controlling costs without compromising quality
Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/provincial/local laws, and ordinances
Oversee all areas of the venue and make final decisions on matters of importance
Communicate effectively with all departments across the venue, including the BOH management team, as well as the BHC Head Office
Deliver outstanding guest service, responding to concerns, resolving issues, and generating return business, while equally prioritizing employee experience and strong team culture

What You Have:
Proven success in a General Manager role is an asset
Flexible schedule required
ProServe certification
WHMIS, Food Safety, and First Aid certifications required (training can be provided if not currently held)
You don't shy away from working with various types of technology and systems, including the ability to troubleshoot, update, and train team members
Strong team leadership skills, with a natural ability to bring people together toward common goals
You're a real person - it's not just about customer service for you, it's about hospitality
Understanding of the importance of communication and workplace culture
Willing to take a step back to look at things from other perspectives and be open to a different way
Ability to work with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
