We are looking for a Business Analytics & Operational Excellence Associate to join our Canada Insights to Impact team based out of Oakville, ON, Canada. This role will start on a contract basis.
About the role
The Business Analytics & Operational Excellence Associate will be a key member of the Insights-to-Impact (I2I) team, who will support the organization’s shift into a more data driven and digital mindset. This individual will have the opportunity to utilize their digital background and creative skills to accelerate insights generation to help the business make informed decisions in an agile manner.
What you’ll do
Cultivating a data-driven mindset across the business by leveraging various sources of information including IQVIA datasets, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms, Patient Support Program (PSP) data, and market research
Collaborating with various stakeholders to generate insights and develop meaningful reporting
Supporting the business in exploring and implementing data/technology solutions to enable UCB Canada’s Digital Business Transformation
Supporting the business to drive field force effectiveness by rolling out new CRM functionalities that enable omni-channel engagement with healthcare professionals
Supporting CRM maintenance including ongoing user support and day-to-day troubleshooting
Identifying opportunities to streamline data management to improve data quality
Assisting in the development and communication of Business Analytics & Operational Excellence processes
Performing other tasks as assigned
Enabling ongoing tracking of tactical execution and documentation of field force activity within the CRM
Bonus Incentive Plans and Sales force compensation
Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills
Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms such as Veeva and/or Salesforce is required
3+ years of work experience working within an analytical domain
Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree student in business and/or science (MBA, MBiotech, MSc, etc.) preferred
Previous analytics experience in the pharmaceutical industry working with IQVIA data sets (GPM, RxDynamics, PharmaStat) is an asset
Prior experience supporting field force effectiveness (Sales or Medical) initiatives such as territory design and realignment, sales incentive compensation/bonus plans
Previous experience with data governance and use of data quality platforms (e.g. Collibra) an asset
Ability to integrate and analyze data from various sources to generate and effectively present key insights to cross-functional stakeholders
Strong data management skills and demonstrated analytical abilities
Experience working with dashboards (e.g. Qlik Sense, Power BI) is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
This positions reasonably anticipated base salary range is $78,000-100,000. The actual salary offered will take into account related knowledge, skills, experience and location among other factors and may fall outside the expected range.
