Englobe Calgary, Alberta office, is pleased to offer a co-operative opportunity to ambitious Civil Engineering/Technology Students.
Reporting to the Materials Team Leads you will spend your 8-month co-op program, May - December (or 2 consecutive 4-month terms) assisting our team in the field.

Your main responsibilities
Students will have the opportunity to be trained and to perform some of the following tasks:
Field testing of civil construction materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt
Learn about construction equipment, sequencing, and drawings
Compaction testing of soils, aggregates and asphalt
Concrete testing; casting cylinders and performing slump and air measurements
Asphalt testing; Marshall analysis, pavement coring, and onsite sampling
Preparing daily test summary reports
Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules.
What makes you unique
A Civil Engineering Student in recognized Canadian College or University.
Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
Must be able to lift 50lbs of weight
Must be very safety conscious
CSA approved laced steel-toed boots.
Alcohol and drug testing may be required upon arrival.
Must be able to work outside of normal working hours and any overtime assigned.
