About the role: The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with the Senior Finance Manager and other Financial Analysts in supporting Senior IT Management. This role will assist in developing a greater understanding of the key drivers of Global IT spend, participate in financial planning and analysis cycles, working on presentation materials, building advanced dashboards and reporting, approving of IT related invoices. Strong analytical, financial modelling, communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships are essential. The role is ideal for a motivated individual who wants to roll up their sleeves and get into the details of the information technology business to ensure a strong and accurate financial model. In this role, you will: Assist the Senior Finance Manager in development and execution of IT Cost Transparency projects and reporting Determine robust allocation methods in relation to Global IT costs Develop ad-hoc reporting that clearly and concisely summarizes data. Provide ad-hoc analytical support to IT leadership as required. Compile and analyze monthly P&L variance analysis. Manage the annual budget and quarterly reforecasting process including: Facilitate meetings with Senior IT Management and IT Stakeholders. Upload data into the forecasting system. Review forecast data. Build presentation materials. Consolidate information and ensure quality and consistency of data as well as explaining key variances. Assist in monitoring and reporting of monthly actual results compared to budget, forecast and previous year, explaining key variances in presentation format. Review and approve the processing of invoices entered in Coupa. Responding to vendor/business requests in relation to allocations Identifying opportunities for improvement and implement What you bring: 5+ years of relevant experience in FP&A Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to build relationships and work well with others A keen passion to learn and enthusiasm to improve processes Ability to prioritize multiple activities and prioritize accordingly Computer proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word and PowerPoint) and especially strong skills in Excel and Power BI Experience building advanced reporting for stakeholders Pursuant to the laws regarding job postings where the position is located in, Colliers is disclosing the following information: Area/Location Specific: Vancouver, BC Approximate Salary Range for Role: $74,690 to $115,000 CAD. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations.
