Work Location Kelowna Valens Agritech Facility About the Role The Opportunity: As a Production Labourer, you’ll play a key role in our operations by ensuring our cannabis products are prepared, packaged, and processed with the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include: Manufacturing & Processing: Operating equipment to assist in batch formulation, mixing, tempering, curing, and packaging. Quality Control: Conducting inspections to ensure products meet company and regulatory standards. Sanitization & Preparation: Cleaning, sanitizing, and setting up production equipment and workspaces. Packaging & Documentation: Weighing, scanning, labeling, counting, and inspecting cannabis material while maintaining accurate documentation per regulations. Compliance & Documentation: Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Health Canada regulations. Team Collaboration: Assisting colleagues, cross-training with other departments, and supporting the onboarding of new team members. Knowledge and Experience: No previous experience or education is required! If you’re: A Quick Learner: We’ll provide the training you need to excel in cannabis processing. Physically Active: Comfortable standing, walking, and lifting (up to 40 lbs) during shifts. Detail-Oriented: Able to follow processes carefully to ensure compliance and accuracy. Must be at least 19 years old and legally authorized to work in Canada. Work involves exposure to plant materials, handling cleaning products, and wearing protective equipment.
