The Client Service Assistant is responsible for various administrative functions relating to Group Retirement Plans including RRSP, RPP, DPSP, and Investment Only. The Client Service Assistant will also be responsible for ensuring payments are received and applied to GPAS, and that payments are balanced and prepared for the end of day Bank deposit. The Client Service Assistant will also be expected to provide high quality client service to internal business partners. You will work closely with Group Retirement Services Customer Service Specialists to assist them in their day-to-day administration.

Cash Handling
Ensure payments are processed accurately and efficiently
Ensure funds are prepped and ready for deposit by days end
Ensure inquires are dealt with in a timely and appropriate manner
Provide high quality customer service
Maintain tight deadlines
What you will bring:
Ability to work in office with a start time of 8:00AM Eastern
Customer Service Skills
Microsoft Office skills are required
Basic cash handling experience
Strong mathematical skills
Knowledge of basic accounting practices are an asset
Strong numeric keyboarding skills demonstrating high levels of speed and accuracy
Strong focus on quality, accuracy and timeliness to meet daily deadlines
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Team player with the ability to work independently
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Strong multi-tasking organization and prioritization skills
Flexibility to work overtime occasionally if required
Familiarity with GPAS would be an asset
Reliability Status security clearance - this is a personnel security status that is required before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada website
The base salary for this position is between $36,100.00 - $48,800.00 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
