The Opportunity:
Processes simple to more complex transactions/jobs, ensuring accuracy and in accordance with Symcor procedures and required deadlines, including receiving, sorting, delivering, pulling, pre-screening, keying, capturing, reconciling, balancing, posting, clearing, conducting quality control and distributing or transmitting a variety of financial items. Documents, reports, and investigates exceptions or unusual items for processing. May provide back-up support as required by performing Lockbox II duties as needed.

About The Role:
Review and validate pre-screen batches as per the clients’ profile instructions with 100% accuracy and within required timeframes. Identify issues/errors, record based on procedures, and escalate to PSO/AM/MGR as required.
Review client materials and determine output packaging to ensure client delivery requirements are met with 100% accuracy, within required timelines and in accordance with client profile/work instructions.
Review file ensuring work is balanced, scanned, completed in the operating system and ready to be sent to the client, and transmit, validating that what was generated is what was sent. Escalate issues to the Captain, open IRs and report for further investigation.
May receive, sort and/or log mail based on incoming financial or non-financial department/function type work in order to provide the client with accurate information regarding processing, identify any gaps/potential issues, and distribute in accordance with prescribed work instructions, including timely output of daily productivity volume to meet or exceed department standards. Process misdirected mail as per prescribed work instructions.
Prepare mail and conduct pre-screening based on customer instructions and CPA rules by reviewing to identify issues and help ensure accurate processing and scanning of items, escalating issues to PSO.
Review and key data in relevant fields based on client instructions to form the data file (dates, amounts invoice numbers), ensuring SLA requirements and priority agreements are met.
Access and post entries to multiple client/Symcor applications, review reports and reconcile data (e.g., statements, G/L accounts, cashbooks, etc.), using applicable tools to identify errors, adjustments or discrepancies requiring resolution. Investigate differences, escalating and engaging management staff and/or development team to open IR’s, and communicate directly with external clients as needed to address items.

Experience:
1 to 3 years related experience.
Skill requirements
Data Entry – Alpha and numerical.
Intermediate computer skills.
MS Office.
Basic knowledge of financial transactions.
