In this role, you will support Element’s Treasury function by focusing on cash management, liquidity forecasting, treasury accounting, and process improvements. You will partner with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate cash flow reporting and effective liquidity management. This position requires producing analysis and reports that support senior and executive management with an emphasis on leveraging technology for efficiency. What You'll Do Oversee daily cash positioning across multi-entity, multi-currency accounts and execute necessary cash movements. Develop and enhance rolling short-term cash forecasts to optimize liquidity management. Monitor global liquidity structures and recommend efficiency improvements. Support short-term investments, debt servicing, and liquidity reporting. Collaborate with Accounting on reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end activities. Manage payment rails, bank portals, TMS systems, and banking integrations. Lead bank account management activities and maintain accurate documentation. Design and implement SOX/ICFR controls for cash, investments, and payments. Partner with AP/AR teams to accelerate cash conversion cycles and support analysis. Lead or contribute to enterprise-wide treasury projects and system upgrades. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Minimum 5 years of corporate treasury or finance experience, including cash management and treasury accounting. Experience with general ledger posting and strong understanding of accounting operations. Advanced MS Excel skills and familiarity with ERP/reporting systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications MBA, CFA, or CTP Proficiency with coding languages such as Python and analytical tools including Power BI and Alteryx. Experience with Bloomberg, ABS Suite, treasury workstations, and ERP systems. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills for managing banking relationships. High level of integrity and commitment to compliance. Ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders. Location: Toronto The hiring base salary range for this position is $76,300 to $104,900 annually. Actual compensation within this range will depend on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
