Job Description: The Registered Nurse A is responsible to the Nursing Unit Manager or Director of Nursing. The Registered Nurse A is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the SHA. As a member of the Nursing department, the Registered Nurse A has the responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client centered care.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Licenses
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)

Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
Nursing diploma is acceptable
