As the Business Analyst, Finance – SAP & Snowflake, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between Finance and Data & Analytics. You will work closely with Finance stakeholders to understand business needs, translate them into data and reporting requirements, and ensure financial data from SAP is accurately represented and optimized within Snowflake. Your expertise in both finance processes and data analytics will help drive reliable insights, enhance reporting capabilities, and support informed decision-making across the organization.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Act as a liaison between the Finance department and the Data & Analytics team to align data solutions with business needs.
Analyze, document, and communicate financial data requirements for analytics, reporting, and planning purposes.
Ensure SAP FI data is accurately integrated and modeled within Snowflake for reporting and analytical use.
Use SQL and data visualization tools to validate data integrity and support Finance users with insights.
Identify and extract relevant data from SAP finance modules, including FI, CO, Treasury, and Asset Accounting, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Collaborate with data engineers and architects to improve data pipelines and financial data flows.
Support data governance and standardization initiatives related to finance data.
Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for Finance leadership.
Provide support and training to end-users on accessing and analyzing SAP finance data within the data warehouse environment.
Leverage understanding of ABAP logic and data structures to interpret SAP data extraction, and support technical teams in building efficient data flows.
YOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
Hands-on experience (10+ years) working with SAP finance modules, including FI, CO, Treasury, and Asset Accounting.
Strong knowledge of SAP FI (data structures, master data, and financial processes).
Hands-on experience with SQL and working knowledge of Snowflake or other cloud data platforms.
Familiarity with ABAP concepts.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably supporting Finance or Analytics teams.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Strong analytical mindset with attention to data accuracy and process efficiency.
Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
