Responsibilities
When your actions lead to success:
Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives;
Perform predictive maintenance, overhaul and install machinery and fabricate as per blueprint;
Investigate, recommend and execute modifications to improve older equipment;
Work from blueprints and operate machine shop equipment;
Minimize production equipment downtime and ensure equipment stays running;
Manage daily maintenance activities and preventative maintenance programs to support blown film extrusion and converting production departments;
Able to work rotating shifts, after hours call-in and on weekends;
Qualifications
When your expertise drives us:
Must be a Licensed Industrial Mechanical Millwright;
Minimum three (3) years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment;
Proficient welding, machining and fabricating skills;
Knowledge of industrial maintenance and outage scheduling best practices;
Experience in blown film extrusion will be considered an asset;
Ability to read and interpret prints, manuals and service requests;
High energy level, positive attitude able to work effectively with other departments;
Highly motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision and handle a wide variety of responsibilities in a busy and sometimes hot environment;
